The Attachment Postit took me such a sickeningly long time to get all these photos ready here that i went to sleep after doing so yesterday. First thing i want to say is...I MISS MY KIDS!!!

Attachment was tiring with all the lesson plans, learning corners and supervision. The workload is crazy for that itty-bitty amount of time. it's like from the first moment you hear which centre you're allocated to, you have all these work waiting for you already. okay maybe i didnt start to do early enough but still. it can't even compared with those crazy projects in year 1 and 2 when we rush the many projects fer months. im sure i wont be able to get a higher GPA this sem. heck, i won't even dream of it. it's going to be hard to even attain my usual 3.1 or 3.2. Only 3 modules, 2 of which the projects scuked, the other is my Field Practicum (attachment) and i barely passed my supervision. All my hard work on the Learning Corners for nothing. SIGH. GRRFH. i dont like the supervisior. :(((
Anyw, i hope our comments help make it better for the next batch of students. Yes Abby, year 3 is tiring. haha, but it's not that scary la. Especially attachment. i remember thinking "OMG. i cant imagine from next week onwards i'll be going to the centre everyday! 9am to 6pm!" and the next thing i know, Attachment is OVER. Of course, i was relieved to finally have my long-deserved break but i really really miss my kids. after knowing them since year 2 and being with them everyday fer the past few months, they've really grown on me. i shall drop by the centre soon.

There's my cheeky microphone Chengyi, ninja turtle boy Silas, rocker boy Edric, indian-chinese Yeyu, smug-smile Yuwen, husky-voice Xuan Loke and my dear Wen Xuan, who always always call for "Miss Shirley". Guess which description belongs to which child? (ok maybe this is silly)

1)Quiet Roujing who moodswings often and tells me "wo you liang ge shou pa" = i have 2 hankerchiefs and is the sister of Yuwen. 2)Ultra cute and handsome Lucas Tee who sleeps on a snoopy w woodstock mattress cover 3) Jionghao who looks like Edison and asks the CUTEST questions. i absolutely have to elaborate on him!HaoHao likes to ask questions like "eh ni... ni... ni zai na li zuo she mou?" Most of the time you would not be able to to answer him as he asks even when you are sitting down not doing anything. If you say "yo zai zuo zhu", he will say "ni... ni... ni wei she mou zuo zhu?" HAHA. Then one day i burst out loud when i was wearing clothes for the playgroup chn and he came by, stood beside me and asked,"wo... wo zai zhe li zuo she mou?" (note that it is WO = I)
HAHA. and after calming down, i replied:"wo na li zhi dao ni zai zhe li zuo she mou?"another incident was when i sat beside him during tea-time. HaoHao was holding his bread and eating and suddenly,"ni bang wo na zhu, wo yao gai yan jing" = you help me hold, i want to cover my eyes.
so i asked why he wanted to cover his eyes and his reply was:"wo... wo yao gai yan jing ying wei wo yao Ku Ma. wo yao Mummy suo yi wo yao Ku Ma" = i... i want to cover my eyes because i want to cry ma. i want Mummy so i want to cry ma"
HAHAHAHAHA. okay. Typically kids do NOT do that. When they miss their mummy they'll just start crying and not say "hey, help me take my bread first so i can cover my eyes and start crying" Geddit? Erm.. haha. hope you understand what im trying to depict.
